Terenza Perkins, Elementary Program Coordinator

Terenza is a program coordinator for P4K’s elementary school team.  Her responsibilities include coordinating Terenza Perkinsmeetings between teachers, community volunteers, students and families to provide successful outcomes for students at Mount View, Franklin, Conestoga and Miller Park Elementary.  Terenza the part of her job she loves the most is being an integral part of a team that positively impacts a child’s pathway to success.

Terenza is not new to the P4K family. She is actually an alumnus of the program and credits P4K for instilling her with confidence and helping her learn how to set and achieve long term goals.

Prior to coming to work for Team P4K, Terenza was an intervention reading facilitator for Lewis and Clark Middle School.  She also served as the girls’ basketball coach and boys’ and girls’ track coach.  Terenza has a degree in education and human sciences and psychology.  She is also currently pursuing a master’s degree in Child, Family and Youth Services, with an emphasis in Community Services.

 

When she is not working, Terenza enjoys coaching, traveling, reading, meeting new people and spending time with family and friends.
