Gema Ramirez is a program coordinator with P4K’s middle school team and oversees all P4K program coordination for 6th -8th grade groups at R.M. Marrs Magnet Center. Gema loves her job because she gets to help youth achieve goals that will impact their lives forever.
A graduate from University of Nebraska at Omaha, she has a bachelor’s degree in education and a triple minor in Spanish, psychology and library science. Gema has a wide-range of experience in working with youth. While obtaining her degree, she student-taught at various schools in Omaha and Lincoln and volunteered as a mentor with Completely Kids. She also worked at the South Omaha Kroc Center and the South Omaha Public Library as a young adult library specialist.
Outside of work Gema enjoys traveling, reading and both playing and watching sports.
