Partnership 4 Kids is proud and excited to welcome Tierre Maclin as the newest addition to P4K’s elementary school programming team.  Tierre will be managing program operations at Fontenelle, King and Saratoga Elementary.

Although he has only been on staff for less than a month, Tierre is no stranger to the ins and outs of goal setting with P4K.

“I was a part of the goal program when it began at Belvedere Academy in 1996,” he says. “My favorite part of the program was exceeding my goals.  The process of goal setting and working persistently to reach them has followed me throughout my life. I turn everything into a specific goal so I can track my progress.”

Tierre put the skills he learned from the program to work early in life, and set it all to music.  “I wrote my first song when I was six-years-old,” he says.

“I first recorded when I was nine and won my first talent show at nine.”  Tierre’s musical style of choice is R&B and he says everything he writes is based on his own life experiences as well as those of the people around him.

In addition to his passion for music, Tierre also loves to travel, spend time with family and friends but most of all he loves to help other young people realize the power goal setting can have in their own lives.

“I like being able to play a role in the development of youth into successful individuals, based on their own ideas of success.”
