Today, we kick off 5th and 6th grade Goal Achievement Honor Ceremonies virtually! The P4K Goal Achievement Honors Ceremony is honoring 200 senior elementary students that met the requirements of:
1) 3 out of 4 of their Partnership 4 Kids goals in Reading and Life Skills; 2) no more than 8 days of unexcused absences this school year; and 3) leadership nominations from both their teacher and principal.
These students have stretched their abilities to achieve challenging goals, made good choices supporting healthy school attendance, and have proven themselves to be leaders among their peers. This event provides the opportunity for these students to reflect upon the challenges they have faced and their ability to persevere to find success.
Watch the video below for brief messages from P4K President Deb Denbeck, OPS Superintendent Cheryl Logan, and P4K Board Member Pat Dees, WoodmenLife!
